Boat Excursion
& Mangrove Eco-Tour at Kilim Geoforest Park πΏπ€β¨
Trading classroom desks for the
tranquility of nature, our ASP x A3I 2026 delegates, accompanied by UniMAP's Deputy Vice-Chancellor
(Academic and International) and program lecturers, set off on a boat excursion through the
breathtaking mangrove ecosystem of Kilim Geoforest Park! π€β¨
Gliding along winding riverways,
participants were treated to spectacular views of ancient karst limestone formations, towering
coastal cliffs, and dense, lush mangrove networks. The boat ride offered fresh sea breezes and
peaceful surroundings, providing a perfect backdrop for delegates and university leadership to bond,
relax, and appreciate Malaysia's unique natural heritage. ππ
From spotting local wildlife
along the banks to taking in panoramic island vistas together, exploring the mangroves one river
section at a time was an extraordinary highlight of the Langkawi retreat.
